DESCRIPTION:
Anco Spray Powder is a highly
effective anti-offset spray powder for separating freshly printed sheets for
quick drying time. The spray powder is made of pure food starches (corn, potato,
tapioca, and other grain products) and is approved by the USDA for use on food
packaging, wrappers and labels.

RECOMMENDED
APPLICATIONS:
VERY FINE (18-20 MICRONS) #200
Smooth powder is ideal for light ink
coverage and where stock is smooth on both sides. Recommended for print and turn
work. Can be dispensed from all types of sprayers. Eliminates static and is an
excellent anti-blocking on poly bags and film. Utilized in rotogravure for slip
qualities. Available in Regular and Silicone Microencapsulated grades.
REGULAR-FINE (22-23 MICRONS) #230
Our most popular all purpose powder
for smooth finish on paper stock, tab stock and low racking. Ideal for use on
medium size presses using smooth stock ( on both sides) and medium piles.
Excellent for laminating or coated stock.
MEDIUM FINE (25-27 MICRONS) #250
Provides a smooth finish on labels,
book cover stock and some carton stock with light coverage. Ideal for
anti-blocking on film packaging and excellent for jobs that need laminating.
Available in Regular, Silicone Microencapsulated, Low Dust and Starch/Wax
grades. Regular powder is generally used on first pass work on cartons, foil
stock or stock even on both sides. The Silicone Microencapsulated powder and
Starch/Wax powder provide very smooth finishes. The Starch/Wax powder is
excellent for playing card stock.
MEDIUM (34-38 MICRONS) #350
Achieves ideal smoothness for label
stock, large piles, heavy ink coverage and smooth stock (one side). Available in
Regular (A and B), Silicone Microencapsulated, Low Dust and Starch/Wax grades.
Regular A is suitable for paper stock, and Regular B is appropriate for large
press, varnish jobs (medium to full loads) on smooth (one side) carton stock.
Silicone Microencapsulated provides a superior smooth finish, particularly with
waterbase coatings. The Low Dust powder is used when air turbulence at delivery
is a problem. use Starch/Wax grades
MEDIUM COARSE (50-68 MICRONS)

Generally used on large press,
varnishing jobs and on medium load carton stock. Available in Regular, Silicone
Microencapsulated and Starch/Wax grades.

Appropriate for heavy ink coverage,
singlepass, full load and varnished print jobs on large carton presses, ice
cream and cereal boxes, sulfate board and uneven stock (both sides). Available
in Regular, Silicone Microencapsulated, Low Dust and Starch/Wax grades. Silicone
Microencapsulated powder provides fine finishes. Starch/Wax powder provides
smoothest finish and slickest surface. powder is excellent on both single and
double poly stock and is also suitable for glass protection.

DIRECTIONS:

Spray directly on ink rollers
and in fountain solution for easier wash-up

Spray over ink in cans and
directly on ink during idle press time to prevent skinning.

Spray directly into ink and mix
to slow down drying time.
